Two specialists in small animal joint health are the keynote speakers at the  clinical study day, this follows the success of a rigorous research study conducted by the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), which resulted in the first ever clinical proof of the effects of joint supplementation on canine mobility in the home environment

Dr Matthew Pead, lead investigator at the RVC, will give more information about the study and Karen Perry, lecturer in small animal surgery, will talk about non-surgical management of Osteoarthritis.  The day will also offer veterinary nurses and practice managers the opportunity to take part in an interactive CPD session during the afternoon, with topics to include: Clinic Opportunities, with a focus on setting up successful senior pet clinics and Merchandising & Promotion Planning – how to increase revenue in practice.

The clinical study day takes place in Maidstone, Kent, on Tuesday 17 June.  Admission to the seminar is FREE but places are limited and must be booked in advance.  Nurses wishing to take part in the afternoon interactive CPD session, will receive a Nutritional Health Advisor Senior Kit to support you in practice after the course.
